Label Relaunch

Emergent Properties is back.

Paul James Nolan's label returns — starting with a new fortnightly radio show, Emergence.

Emergent Properties

The relaunch

A label built to last, not just launched twice.

Emergent Properties went on hiatus last year. It's coming back — not as a side project, but as the label that runs alongside my own DJ career, the way Bedrock has run alongside John Digweed's, Sudbeat alongside Hernan Cattaneo's, Last Night On Earth alongside Sasha's.

It's still a home for the artists coming through MYT. But it's also, now, mine — a place for the music I'm making and the music I believe in, released properly, on my own terms.

The first move

Emergence — a new fortnightly radio show

Every two weeks, I'll be hosting a show in the mould of Digweed's Transitions or Cattaneo's Resident — a proper dig through what's moving me right now. New music, old favourites, names on the way up alongside the ones I grew up on.

First episode is ER001. This is where the label starts telling its story again — out loud, every fortnight.

Regular releases return after ADE

Full release schedule details are coming shortly, timed for right after Amsterdam Dance Event this October — with the label's first release back planned for the end of October 2026.

Until then, follow along via Emergence to hear exactly where the sound is heading.
